Alpina Extreme Diver 300 Orange: Dive into Murky Waters

Alpina introduces the Extreme Diver 300 Orange dive watch.
Naturally, diving goes hand in hand with water resistance, and the case will let you reach depths of 300 metres (a very common occurrence for ordinary mortals) without having to worry about your timepiece.
Did you know? Orange is one of the most vivid colours in the visible light spectrum. That’s precisely why the watch’s designers chose orange: to optimise the legibility of the dial and bezel in the depths of your swimming pool.
Available in both quartz and automatic versions, the Alpina Extreme Diver 300 Orange features a unidirectional dive bezel (Read also How to use a dive watch bezel) in polished black, with luminescent markings.
The minute hand features an orange outline, making it easy to pick out against the black dial.
At 3 o’clock, a window displays the date over three days.
The case diameter varies depending on the movement inside. The automatic version (AL-525) comes in a 44 mm case and offers a 46-hour power reserve, while the quartz version (AL-240) has a 38 mm diameter.
Another difference between the automatic and quartz models: the caseback. The automatic version has a transparent caseback, whereas the quartz model’s is engraved with an image.
The crown is coated in rubber for easier handling.
As for the strap, the available materials are metal, rubber or nylon.
