Linde Werdelin SpidoLite II
Danish watchmaker Linde Werdelin is launching the SpidoLite II, a “tuned” fusion of the SpidoLite and the SpidoSpeed.
A simple “cross-breed” would have been rather disappointing, so our Danish friends have not only brought together the best of the two previous models, but also introduced some noteworthy new features.
The SpidoLite II opts for titanium for its case. The material strikes a fine balance between lightness and toughness for a watch that is unapologetically sporty.
Linde Werdelin is using this model to introduce a small seconds display, a new feature positioned at 9 o’clock on the dial, which reveals the movement (Concepto) of this skeleton watch.
Another first: the date makes its debut in the SpidoLite line.
Beyond the design, the industrial touch of the monochrome palette is skilfully energised by the blued steel hands.
The watch will be available in Titanium (€9,360) and Titanium Anthracite DLC (€9,960), each limited to 100 pieces.
