DeuxBéliers: Made in La Chaux-de-Fonds

A new brand is making its debut: DeuxBéliers.
Its geographical origin alone commands respect, as the two friends behind the brand bring their watches to life in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
One is a precision mechanic and the other a salesman with a passion for art. Together, they assemble DeuxBéliers mechanical watches in their workshop.
I regret not being able to get them in hand, as the photos on the website (www.deuxbeliers.com) leave a good impression.
The movements are ETA 2824-2s (or Sellita SW200-1 depending on the model), the crystals are sapphire, and the cases are water-resistant to 50 metres.
The price is appealing (CHF 1,419, or around €1,300).
To be continued.
