Urwerk UR-110PTH: Mechanical Red!
Urwerk unveils a “monster” of a watch built entirely on contrast: the UR-110PTH, a limited edition of the UR-110 in a platinum version.
First, a contrast of colours, with a battle between black and red—opposites, yet indispensable.
There is also a contrast between the piece’s raw, rugged side and the care lavished on the finishing, reflecting the hand of man on the material: perlage, satin-brushing and sandblasting. A layering of exceptionally fine strata, almost imperceptible yet very much present.
The 950 platinum case (a metal close to purity) features a reinforced blackened bezel and a matte look thanks to a well-executed micro-sandblasting.
The UR-110PTH watch is limited to 20 pieces.
