Ice-Watch Flagship Store in Geneva
Not content with having already sold more than 9 million watches in five years of existence, Ice-Watch is opening a boutique on Rue de Rive, in Geneva.
This flagship store, located very close to the prestigious Rue du Rhône, opened its doors on 22 November 2012. The Ice Store Geneva was inaugurated by Jean-Pierre Lutgen, the brand’s founder and CEO.
The space, around twenty square metres, enjoys an ideal location and allows the Belgian-born brand, already established in 110 countries, to assert its rightful presence in the land of watchmaking with a product… made in China!
Perhaps it is this temperament that underpins Jean-Pierre Lutgen’s success: push ahead, push ahead, push ahead. The man wastes no time. No sooner had the Ice-Watch boutique in Geneva opened than he was off to Paris to open a new store just a few days later.
Jean-Pierre Lutgen lived up to his reputation and shared a few confidences, including: the creation of a Swiss Made collection with a partner whose name will only be revealed at Baselworld (Ronda and Isaswiss movements, no ETA and therefore no Swatch :)), the signing of a licence agreement with Pantone, the leader in colour, and the opening of new markets in Italy, Spain, the Middle East, the United States and Russia.
Among the new releases: the Ice Twist. A women’s double-wrap watch available in black, white, pink and purple.
