MyWatchy.com, Your Personalized Watch

My Watchy is a new website for creating personalised watches.

While Montres-Passion.fr is a watch website dedicated to complications and high watchmaking, we are happy to take the occasional editorial detour to shine a light on “lifestyle” products that are less about precision timekeeping and more about a certain legitimacy in the world of watches (didn’t Swatch save the watch industry in the 1980s?).

Behind MyWatchy.com is a young entrepreneur, Camille Besse, and a good idea: riding the wave of personalisation and the growing enthusiasm for the watch as a montre accessoire d’été.

Three steps are required to create and order your watch. Nine elements of the watch can be customised in six different colours, offering more than 500,000 possible combinations.

The components are Japanese and assembled in France.

Creating the watch is very quick—here is the one we ordered.

We’re eagerly awaiting the site’s next developments: new watch models (for now, only one model is available)? New colours? The option to engrave the caseback?
