Tudor Pelagos: The Silent World in Complete Serenity

2012 is the year of dive watches at Tudor. Unveiled at Baselworld 2012, the Tudor Pelagos is a diving instrument designed to take on the world of silence with complete peace of mind.
The Tudor Pelagos is a worthy heir to the brand’s long-standing ties with diving. Its 42 mm satin-finished case in titanium is water-resistant to 500 metres, thanks to a helium escape valve.
The unidirectional bezel with its matte black ceramic insert is not only easy to operate, it also enhances the watch’s sporty yet elegant character.
Legibility is one of the essential factors in a good dive watch. The indications must remain readable in the worst conditions, particularly in murky waters. The square hour markers and luminous “snowflake” hands (square tips on the hour and seconds hands) on the Pelagos dial fully deliver on their purpose beneath the sapphire crystal.
The self-winding mechanical movement offers a 38-hour power reserve.
The titanium bracelet features a steel folding clasp whose spring-loaded mechanism adjusts automatically to water pressure, ensuring excellent comfort at any depth.
Price from €3,300.
Unveiled at the same time as the Pelagos, the Tudor Heritage Black Bay dive watch is a reinterpretation of an iconic model from the 1950s. Retro & Chic …
