Perrelet Turbine Snake: Limited Edition Dedicated to the Year of the Wood Snake

To celebrate Chinese New Year 2025, Perrelet unveils an exceptional creation: the Turbine Snake, a limited-edition watch restricted to just 88 pieces. Inspired by the Year of the Wood Snake, this singular timepiece combines bold design, cultural symbolism and watchmaking expertise.

A bold, symbolic design

The Turbine Snake immediately catches the eye thanks to its richly detailed dial. Red—symbolising luck and happiness in China—dominates the lacquered sub-dial, decorated with golden ideograms evoking prosperity. At the centre sits a 3D gold snake, its finely rendered scales seeming almost to come alive.

The turbine, made up of 12 black anodised aluminium blades, is emblematic of Perrelet. It springs into motion with the slightest movement of the wrist, gradually revealing the majestic figure of the snake. The rose-gold hands, featuring Super-LumiNova segments, ensure optimal legibility, even in the dark.

A COSC- and Chronofiable®-certified engine

At the heart of the watch, the P-331-MH calibre, developed in-house by Perrelet and produced by Soprod, delivers COSC-certified accuracy and meets the stringent standards of the Chronofiable® label. This automatic movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a 42-hour power reserve.

The sapphire crystal caseback allows this exceptional movement to be admired, embellished with a golden snake motif that adds an artistic touch to the mechanics. Each piece is individually numbered, underscoring its exclusivity.

A robust yet lightweight case

The Grade 2 titanium case with black DLC coating is lightweight, robust and corrosion-resistant. Measuring 41 mm in diameter and 13.82 mm thick, it offers excellent comfort on the wrist. The flat bezel and fluted case sides add a contemporary touch to this unique piece.

The black rubber strap with pin buckle integrates seamlessly with the case, offering a perfect blend of style and practicality.

Limited to just 88 pieces, the Turbine Snake will be available from February 2025 through authorised retailers and on Perrelet’s official website. Each watch is delivered in a customised presentation box adorned with the snake motif, accompanied by the COSC and Chronofiable® certificates.

Price and warranty

The Turbine Snake is priced at €5,180. A standard three-year warranty, extendable to five years, is offered if registration is completed within 90 days of purchase.
