A bold, reinforced architecture
The LM Perpetual EVO case marks a clear break from classic models. Designed without a bezel, the sapphire crystal is directly bonded to the case middle, offering maximum openness and outstanding legibility. Available in zirconium, titanium or rose gold, this 44 mm case stands out with water resistance increased to 80 metres, reinforced by a screw-down crown.
To protect the movement from shocks, MB&F has integrated an exclusive system called FlexRing. This one-piece steel shock absorber sits between the case and the movement, providing optimal protection along both vertical and lateral axes. This innovation turns the LM Perpetual EVO into one of the most robust watches ever produced by MB&F, while maintaining its aesthetic refinement.
The mechanical processor: a watchmaking revolution
At the heart of the LM Perpetual EVO lies an innovative perpetual calendar, developed by master watchmaker Stephen McDonnell. Unlike traditional mechanisms, this system uses a mechanical processor based on stacked discs. It takes the 28 days of each month as its reference and automatically adds the required days, thereby eliminating date errors.
This processor also incorporates a safety system that disconnects the quick-setting pushers during the date change, preventing any accidental damage to the movement. A technical feat that ensures intuitive, risk-free operation.
A spectacular display
Beneath the sapphire dome, the LM Perpetual EVO dial delivers a captivating stage set. The calendar indications—day, date, month and leap year—are arranged around a 14 mm flying balance wheel, MB&F’s iconic signature. Numerals and hands treated with Super-LumiNova ensure perfect readability even in the dark.
Each edition stands out with dials featuring sophisticated finishes, such as ice-blue CVD or ocean blue, enhancing the depth and details of the mechanism.
