Mach Watch: A Watch for Concorde Fans
Aero-Design, a brand specialising in aeronautical decorative elements, is behind the Mach Watch Airspeed watch launched in 2018. Its distinctive feature? It incorporates an original part from the Concorde. This year, the brand is introducing a new model, the Machmeter, whose dial replicates the machmeter from the famous and fabulous Concorde.
Each of the 50 Mach Watch Machmeter pieces incorporates an authentic part from the Concorde Sierra Delta, a particular aircraft that holds special appeal for enthusiasts.
More precisely, this piece comes from the rear section of the wing, at the leading edge. It has been worked into a plate screwed onto the middle case of the watch. It is stamped with the reference and the date it entered service.
On the “engine” side, the watch houses, in its 10 ATM water-resistant case, a Swiss ETA Valjoux 7754 GMT movement offering a 45-hour power reserve.
