Bremont Terra Nova Bronze

British watchmaker Bremont continues its expansion with three new references in its Terra Nova collection, this time rendered in bronze. Inspired by early 20th-century military watches, these new releases combine rugged design with a modern approach to materials.
For this 2025 edition, Bremont has chosen a cupro-aluminium alloy, a highly resilient bronze distinguished by its gradual, controlled patina. With three distinct models — a three-hand with date, a power reserve version and a chronograph — the Terra Nova Bronze collection is aimed at enthusiasts of tool watches built to last.
A high-resistance bronze case
One of the defining features of these new Terra Nova Bronze models is the use of a specific bronze alloy: cupro-aluminium. Unlike traditional bronze, which can quickly develop an uneven green patina, this material evolves in a more gradual and uniform way.
Its advantages are numerous:
- Increased resistance thanks to the aluminium and silicon present in the alloy.
- Hypoallergenic properties that help avoid skin reactions commonly associated with certain metals.
- A controlled patina that forms after around three months, bringing a subtly aged yet even tone.
This material was selected for its toughness, perfectly aligned with the Terra Nova collection’s tool ethos, which highlights watches capable of facing extreme conditions.
Three new references with gradient dials
Bremont offers its Terra Nova Bronze in three versions with different functions, all sharing the same visual signature:
