Orient Star uses an iron meteorite here—a material composed primarily of iron and nickel that travelled through space for millions of years before reaching Earth.

Once cut and treated, this meteorite reveals a very distinctive crystalline structure known as the Widmanstätten pattern. This geometric motif is the result of the metal cooling extremely slowly in the vacuum of space.

In other words, it is impossible to reproduce this pattern artificially.

Each dial therefore displays a different structure, making every watch unique.

To protect the surface against corrosion, Orient Star applies a silver vapour deposition treatment. This process acts as a protective layer while preserving the metal’s natural appearance.

The result is particularly successful. The dial shows a metallic grey tone traced with crystalline motifs, whose reflections shift subtly depending on the light.

The whole is protected by a double-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, offering a stated light transmission of 99%.

The watch features a SUS316L stainless-steel case measuring 40 mm in diameter, 12.9 mm thick, and 47.3 mm lug-to-lug.

These proportions remain very well balanced for a contemporary watch—present on the wrist without becoming imposing.

The steel bracelet uses the same material and fastens with a triple-folding clasp with push-button release.

On the dial, you also find one of the brand’s signatures: the power-reserve indicator, positioned at 12 o’clock.
