SIHH 2017 Opens to the Public

SIHH-2017

The Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, held every year in Geneva, is expanding with the arrival of new exhibitors and—news that will delight watch lovers—is opening its doors to the general public!

Dear horology enthusiasts, access to the SIHH will now be available to you for one day.

Gone are the days when you had to fool security by slipping into a pair of Converse, jeans and a three-day beard to look like Maximilian Büsser (the boss of MB&F) after knocking him out in the Palexpo car park to get into the much-coveted SIHH show.

An act all the more risky given that it is common knowledge that Max Büsser never goes anywhere without his Astero-axe.

The 27th edition will take place from 16 to 20 January 2017 at Geneva Palexpo, with two new exhibitors: Girard-Perregaux (which left the show in 2011) and Ulysse Nardin.

Friday 20 January is therefore open to the public.

Personally, I find this show far more charming than the giant Baselworld, and I can’t wait to attend the next edition.
