Before he was running along the beaches of Malibu, David “The Hoff” Hasselhoff was Michael Knight, the hero of the series K2000 (or Knight Rider in its original title).

To communicate remotely with his mount—the official term used in the opening credits—named KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand), Michael Knight had a very special watch.

All Michael had to do was raise his wrist to his mouth and issue his commands to the legendary black 1982 Pontiac Trans Am (Firebird) with its red light bar. The car would then immediately leave the car wash—where it was being thoroughly buffed by hostesses—to rejoin its master and, nonetheless, friend.
