Cock-a-doodle-doo! French manufacture Pequignet is launching a new collection: Royale Titane.

With a pilot-inspired look, the two models house the latest generation of the now-famous movement, the Calibre Royal, made and assembled in France in the Jura.

Each of the two models comes in two versions.

  • The first model, priced at €6,500, features three complications and comes with two dial options: sunburst anthracite and white opaline.
  • The second model, priced at €5,000, does without the Big Date and its double aperture. The two dial options are sunburst brown or black opaline (with a black PVD treatment on the case).

Despite this difference in complications, the Pequignet Royale Titane watches come in a 44mm titanium case water-resistant to 50 metres, with lugs that extend the case in an elegant sweep.

At 8 o’clock, the power-reserve indicator displays the 88 hours of autonomy delivered by the movement. At 4 o’clock, the seconds are shown by a hand that is not unlike (as with the hour and minute hands) the cyalumes (glow sticks) used by airport ground staff.

The strap is made of black vulcanised rubber and proudly bears the fleur-de-lis, Pequignet’s emblem and one of the most widely used heraldic devices in France since the Carolingians.
