Mini D de Dior Fluorescent Bracelet
Flashy and sparkling, the new Mini D women’s watch from Dior with its fluorescent strap brilliantly manages to pair a restrained, elegant case with a strap bursting with life. The bold gamble pays off handsomely.
The Mini D by Dior features a small 19 mm steel case. The bezel and crown are set with 0.46 carats of VVS-purity diamonds. It is worth recalling that the VVS designation covers diamonds with only tiny inclusions that are very difficult to see under a loupe at 10x magnification. This “grade” of diamonds can therefore be described as very high quality.
The dial, in black mother-of-pearl from Vietnam, ensures excellent legibility for the polished Dauphine hands.
The case houses a quartz movement whose origin is not disclosed (most likely an ETA movement… at least, one hopes) and offers water resistance to 30 metres.
The fluorescent strap is available in three colours: pink, yellow and orange. These are, in fact, fine-quality, varnished kidskin leather straps. The steel pin buckle is also set with diamonds.
