Perrelet Turbine Dragon

Perrelet is celebrating the Year of the Dragon with a special edition of its famous double-rotor Turbine watch: the Perrelet Turbine Dragon.
Following the special series Turbine Poker, America, Erotic (rather likeable), Playing with Fire, the watch brand is now taking on a founding myth of Chinese civilisation: the dragon.
Beneath the 12 blades of the double rotor—whose operating principle you can see in action in the video below—the dragon, cut from Polynesian mother-of-pearl and hand-coloured on a dial in natural white mother-of-pearl, is revealed.
The 44 mm (13 mm thick) black DLC-treated steel case contrasts with the dial’s white mother-of-pearl.
The strap is made of alligator leather.
The watch is produced as a limited edition of 99 pieces.
It’s a safe bet the watch will appeal to the Chinese market, young grasshopper.
