Perrelet Turbine Poker: The Watch That Lays Its Cards on the Table

Perrelet reinterprets its famous turbine watch in a poker version… A real bluff!
To understand it properly, we need to take a trip back in time. In 1995, Perrelet launched the Double Rotor, a calibre (P-181) with automatic winding that allows you to observe one rotor on the dial side and another beneath the mechanism.
This innovation would later give rise to the famous turbine, showcasing two rotors that create a hypnotic optical effect—one you can see in the video below.
Poker is a theme that has been revisited countless times, and not always successfully. Applied to the turbine, however, it makes perfect sense, and Perrelet plays its hand to perfection.
The new Perrelet Turbine has chosen poker—playing cards—to fully exploit its capabilities. With every movement of the wrist, the watch’s 12 turbine blades begin to spin, concealing the cards depicted on the dial until the wheel completes its run, revealing the “player’s” hand.
The Perrelet Turbine Poker watch is offered in three dial variants, differentiated by the winning combinations.
Needless to say, the watch is produced in limited quantities.
Price: around €4,500
